Microsoft scopre che il prossimo anno internet sarà il media più utilizzato (l’ha detto Microsoft per cui probabilmente se ne accorgeranno tutti i mainsteam media con ululati e consimili)

A giugno del 2010 per la prima volta Internet sottrarrà alla tv tradizionale il primato di mezzo di comunicazione più utilizzato. È questa la previsione, che segna una svolta epocale, che emerge dai dati del report pubblicato oggi da Microsoft «Europe logs on: Internet trends of today & tomorrow». Secondo lo studio, infatti, nel 2010 l’utilizzo di Internet raggiungerà una media di 14,2 ore alla settimana (più di 2,5 giorni al mese), rispetto alle 11,5 ore alla settimana (due giorni al mese) della televisione.

The expected drop in internet advertising revenues this year was neither unpredictable nor unpredicted, nor was it caused solely by the general recession and the decline in retail sales.  Internet advertising will rapidly lose its value and its impact, for reasons that can easily be understood.  Traditional advertising simply cannot be carried over to the internet, replacing full-page ads on the back of The New York Times or 30-second spots on the Super Bowl broadcast with pop-ups, banners, click-throughs on side bars.
